- Using cheater bars will result in an inaccurate reading,
damage to tool and/or part, and may result in personal injury.
- Do not exceed rated torque capacity of wrench.
- Do not exceed capacity of drive end.
- Do not use torque wrench to break fasteners loose.
- Do not use torque multipliers with impact wrenches.
- Place reaction bars of torque multipliers against fixed, strong object.
- Adjustable torque wrenches should always be stored at their lowest setting.
- Always grasp handle firmly in the center of the grip.
- Stop applying force onto torque tool once target has been reached.
- Approach final torque slowly and evenly.
- Ratchet mechanism may slip or break if dirty or worn out.
- Do not mismatch parts.
- Always check your requirements with us.
- Always select the proper tool for the job.
- Always use safety precautions.
- Never bounce on the tools.
- Never apply torque while balance your weight onto the torque wrench.
- Never use a torque wrench that is uncalibrated.
- Never use worn, dirty or mismatched parts.
- Do not use impact drivers on the Slip-Torq Torque Limiters.
- Periodic recalibration will ensure accuracy.
- Your feet should be firmly on the ground.
- Always use common sense.
